Embody: Move (2019) - Debuting at the New Frontier for Sundance Film Festival’s 2019 edition, Embody focussed on turning the experience of Virtual Reality away from disembodiment, to the direct contrast of focussing a user to truly feel and experience their body. Leveraging external depth cameras and pressure sensitive yoga mats, machine learning models were created to classify the accuracy of a user’s ability to perform specific yoga poses. The piece cycled through several scenes/environments that reacted and evolved to the data from these classifies, and as a Key Collaborator and also responsible for all sound, I ensured the piece immersed and grounded the user holistically.
