Three Way Mirror explores the interaction we have with ourselves and others through the use of a mirror able to replace segments of your face with pieces of another’s. Human interaction is confined to the present, unless done asynchronously and derivatively through digital forms. Three Way Mirror attempts to create an interaction through time that still retains the essence of a true human exchange. The typically solo experience of a mirror is transformed into the sharing of a playful moment with someone, through the use of facial detection algorithms.
